Vessel

It's been a long time since I've been on a boat, but I can still hear the gentle sounds of water lapping against the side of the hull and feel the rock as the waves pass. I can see the water glistening off to the horizon, taste the saltiness of the mist. Then there's that ocean smell. Some sort of mix of fishiness and algae that I can't quite explain. But there's also the headache from the Gravol and and uneasy not quite nausea. There's a reason why, even before, I didn't want to go on a cruise.
