Trip

For years, I've walked around the lake regularly, but only the west part of the lake. That's a long enough walk, but one day, last summer, as I was approaching Broad Street, I decided to go around the eastern half of the lake as well. So, rather than going over the bridge, I crossed the street and followed the path down to the Science Centre and beyond. The path switches from paved to dirt to virtually non-existent but leads through the disk golf and up to Wascana Hill. The habitat conservation area seemed to be closed when I was there but looks interesting. Then it was over the lake close to the ring road, following the path near the University and all the way back home. Maybe that's more of a trek than a trip, but close enough.
