Forget

A child's shoe perched on a park bench, gloves placed on a lamp post, and a scarf hanging from a bush are among the things I've seen while walking. Lost items, found by someone else, and carefully positioned to be visible to the owner if they come looking for them. The giant green plushy dog though, that seems like it must have a story. It didn't belong to anyone who was around but it was far too large to be easily misplaced. It had to have been left behind. If it had happened during the Queen City Ex, I'd put it down to a prize won there and then abandoned later, but this was in October. I'll never know the real story, but I can make one up.

George and Donna have been seeing each other for a while. George thought it was going well, but Donna, not so much. She agrees to one last date and George goes all out to try to win her over. He buys her dinner, they go for a walk in the park, he gives her the oversized plushy. Donna isn't a fan of neon green, doesn't have space in her room for a giant toy anyway, and no longer wants to hear from George. Donna leaves and George, heartbroken, can't even look at the plushy as he too departs.
